I doubt he is a lemon. The only way I see that happening is if he tries to be too advanced and it ends up just being too confusing for players.

I'm not worried about the green dot now that we have Downs, he's going to be the one organizing these idiots whether or not he's the one getting the calls in his headset.

Yeah, I will just have to wait and see on this one. I think the Cowboys were extremely interested in him. It doesn't sound like this was a guy the 49ers were really shopping around. More a player that our LBers coach, and defensive staff kind of picked out and wanted. At least this wasn't a draft bust or a salary dump for another team. I think the 49ers would have been very happy to keep him. They just knew that he wasn't going to be a starter and that he was on the last year of his deal.

I think there are some similarities in terms of his career arc as Al-Shaiir who they were interested in, and who just got a 3/54 extension.

Al-Shaiir is a bigger but there are some similarities.

Fuck branding right away. Giving yourself a nickname is lame. Especially if you're trying to piggy back of a legendary name already known to the team. If you deserve to be called Doomsday, prove it.

Play the game. Don't worry about your stupid brand.

If you deserve to be called something special in time, it will come.

I agree obviously, but it needs to happen early on, like after three successful outings.
