2026 Draft Week Chatter Thread...

I'm kind of in the mindset that the way they drafted this year without taking a legit LB means they've got a trade in the works for after the draft. The Miami guy maybe? or signing a free agent still outstanding. Clowney, Wagner, Bosa, Reader, All possibilities.

They are not trading for anybody.

The roster is set!

I hope hurricane Katrina comes back X10 and wipes those fuckers off the map. How DARE they take future HOFer Bryce Lance one pick before us. 🤬

No picks the next two rounds, right? If so, no reason to keep watching.

LT Overton weighed in at 287 pounds at his Pro Day, according to si.com. This was a significant increase from his 274-pound measurement at the 2026 NFL Combine. He ran a 4.87 40-yard dash at this heavier weight.

Pro Day Weight: 287 lbs
Combine Weight: 274 lbs

To me this is really simple.

Why would the Steelers call him before their pick? It's their own stupid fault for jumping the gun.
Exactly.

The only way I can see their being upset with us is if we told them we were drafting defense and obviously lied to them and traded the pick. But otherwise I don't get it. Why even call him early at all?

They already traded for a LB. They might sign a guy like Wagner.
