13lbs is nothing. Easy to lose if you're cutting, especially for the big boys that are carrying the extra body fat. And I assume he was to try and be quicker for the combine testing.
 
Chargers take Barrett. Would rather have had him.

4.87 forty at combine

4.94 forty at proday

That's absolutely what he was trying to do. But I'll take 287 running a 4.94 with him just fine. My guess is he wanted to convince teams he could be more of an edge. He isn't an edge, don't try to be.

Well it didn't work, his testing was abysmal.

Guess I'll just hope c-rock is right and it was a misguided effort, and he'll be okay much heavier.
 
I did notice that Schottenheimer’s kid did not mention the Shelton and Moore picks but did with Overton.

Listen, I'm trusting Brugler to not be lying to me. Just copying from what it says in The Beast. I guess he could have made an error. But the slower 40 backs it up. No one runs a slower forty at their pro day. But 13 pounds would explain it.
