And natural pass rush skills is the most important thing. You don’t want a guy who is just a nickel rush specialist. But the pass rush skills can’t be taught. You have to be natural and elite at that to be a star.

A lot of the other stuff can be taught.

I agree. I think this kid has both raw athletic traits and pass rush skills. I think he has the potential to be great in this scheme. I may even move Gary to DE some and play Lawrence at OLBer. People forget, Gary is actually heavier than Faulk and he is strong.

I think he'll do what Alvin Harper did for Michael Irvin. He'll make the acrobatic catch. He'll stretch the field. He can beat the double team, as he was constantly doubled at NDSU. But when they did single him up, he roasted that coverage. And I think he can do that in the NFL.
 
Some of these teams really confuse me.

If I am the Jets...is Omar Cooper going to move the needle? No fucking way.

I think there is a real system where shit teams just continue to suck.

But maybe it is just the organization.
