Which is nice.

I've seen far too many call him the smartest player in the draft. With that talent, that's a great pairing.

Despite having a lack of resources this entire weekend, I’m moving back up for Bain if he falls to the Bucs. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Jets grab him and get 2 stud DEs.

I love Downs but again, we actually signed a good player at S in FA.

We really need more impact front 7 players on D.

I would have gone Bain but they probably don't like him.

Most of the Dalls announcers on radio here had him as the first, second or third best player int he draft. Can't bitch about that at all.

This defense badly needs impact players. Downs is an impact player. I think he was the best player on that Ohio State defense.

Maybe, but I wouldn't be surprised if somebody was interested in moving in and taking him. WE would have stood pat and took either Downs or Bain, but reports have been coming out that we were out on Bain. For whatever reason. And if so, Downs was the last of the Mohicans for us for the elite defenders.

It's the short arm thing.

Yeah, it may just be he didn't fit the mold of what they want on defense. I get that the fit isn't perfect. But I also hate passing on guys because we need the right "fit" for a specific DC. Like if your DC can't figure out how to use one of the best defenders in the draft, the problem is your DC.

With that being said, I think Downs could be arguably a better prospect.
