The Work Thread..

I just really get steamed when I get on a fucking interview panel for a counterpart job in a building that I have been supporting for the good part of a year and have to waste my time with someone unqualified. It is like some snot nose Arkie disabled the AI and mashed the DEI button.

I know you dont work for them but the stories that you have make me think its a Dollar General Warehouse.

I will be starting a new job on the 20th. I will be selling insurance (yeah, I know) for my cousin's agency. Just wanted to let you all know because I will not be around during the day at all from that point forward.

I'm actually looking forward to this gig, though, as surprising as that might be. My cousin is a very honest man and I won't have to pull any shenanigans to sell policies. His motto is to present what is available and for what money, and if they buy, they buy. No pressure, no half-assing coverage to sell a policy. And, now, the fun part. There are guys selling for Farmers' insurance in Texas that clear 100k+ a year. He has 2 just in his office that are banking 70k annually.

Anyway, just wanted to let everyone know what is going on when you don't see me around nearly as often during the day.
