2026 NFL Draft Chatter

I'm not saying he is a 4.69-4.64 speed guy. But I will say the lack of speed shows when you watch him. I wouldn't feel ok about him in the first. And I'm a little worried he would be exposed in the NFL.

You might be able to hide some of that in a zone defense and by putting him in the slot. But if I was the DC, I wouldn't have a first or second round grade on him. I don't think he has the speed to keep up on the crossing routes you see out of the slot in the NFL.

May be a fine NFL slot and if we draft him I hope he is. I'm just worried he is too limited.

Forbes is a clown but this one is a decent theory if the idea of a seller’s market is a reality. It just wonder where the idea of devalued draft choices is coming from.

No way I'm giving up that much with the holes we have. It would be absurd.

He said Browns receive picks 6/20/112. Did he mean 12/20/112?

I might think about it for Reese.

But I'll admit I think Reese is the perfect 3-4 OLBer. All the consternation about him not being able to be a full time edge I think is easily solved in Dallas with the new DC. I think we have the perfect set up for the guy to have a massive impact in the NFL.

But I agree, I'm not giving up that much draft capital to go and get Styles. And I really like Styles. Would be thrilled to have him in Dallas. But I don't feel strongly enough that he is the next Fred Warner, Brian Urlacher or whatever to give up a fourth, a future third and move that far down from 20 to take him.

Now replace Styles with Reese at 6 (I know he isn't falling that far, but IF) and I'm seriously thinking about it. I can go get Hill/Rodriguez to play LBer at 39. I can go get a slot corner or safety at 92 and suddenly I feel like I'm really cooking. Give me Hill and Chandler Rivers with Reese and I feel like the defense could really turn things around.

I don't feel the same way about trading up for Styles.

Hello? I need an explanation to this! I'm just curious how both teams could have pick 6.

So, he's suggesting we give 12, 20, an early 4th and next year's 3rd?? Fuck every bit of that. I wouldn't even do that for Bailey.

Technically not next years third. The year after that. 2028's third. I guess once the draft starts technically you can trade 2028 draft picks.

I dont think its as bad as it sounds and I think I would do it for Bailey, Reese, and possibly Styles.

You are trading a first and a future 3rd to move 12 to 6 and 112 to 39. You would still have the pick you got from Osa as well.

I don't like going from 4 picks to 3 picks, especially since I really like some of the possibilities at 112.

I look at it like this.

With that trade, your top 4 rounds could look like this:

Bailey / Hill / Muhammad

Without the trade it could be:

Downs / Methusidor/ Trotter / Rivers

Neither would be disasters but I just like having the additional potentially good player.

And that's not mentioning giving up the additional 3rd in two years, which makes it to me a slam dunk bad trade.

Yeah it's easy to ignore that third today. But in 2 years when you're missing that pick it's going to be annoying as hell. And another missed opportunity to add a potential starter to the roster.

My other thing is that we shouldn't be that desperate to move up in this draft. It's not a great top of the draft relatively speaking and we're not one player away.

I'm much more open to trading up if it's cheaper (like the 6/39 for 12/20 proposal).

If it's expensive though, I'd have zero interest.
