Yeah, Woods is sort of a guy who played both DE and DT in college. His arms aren't super long (Under 32) so he might not be a fit as a 3-4 DE. But he did 2 gap stuff in college. His weight at 298 sort of fits the mold as a 3-4 DE. This guy was a lock top 5 pick before Clemson fell apart this year. I just wonder if there is any thought that this guy could be an impact 3-4 DE or if he really just doesn't fit the scheme.

I haven't really seen Faulk or Woods linked in terms of 30 visits or anything like that. If one of them pops up on the 30 visit list though you have to at least consider Dallas is looking for that type of guy early. Right now, I'd say most of the 3-4 DE types we have looked at are more day 3 guys.

Woods would be a phenomenal and foundational Dallas Cowboy for a long time. Hell yes.

Just because we have Williams and Clark doesn't mean we are loaded up front. We are good but seriously lack depth. Woods gives us that instantly

Frankly I'm hoping he lasts to the bottom of the round, 26-ish and we get him in a trade down from 20. Clemson's underachieving is casting a pall on so many of its talented graduating class this year. Major underrated value.
 
Loved the idea of Treydan Stukes and his 4.33 speed as a safety. Not the ultra-splashy stars, but a lot of guys who can fix our defense this season and add depth to the OL and running game. This draft used the Rich Hill Trade Value Chart. Almost took J-Rod over Allen.

Then we'd be sitting with 20, 24, 39, 70, 112, 152, 177, 180, 218. I think I'd do that in a heartbeat.

I've always been on board with a trade down, depending on who's still on the board. I just don't carry on like it's a given that a trade down can happen if we so choose.

That day cost me $400... I threw my boot at the TV in the hotel and busted the screen. Had to go to walmart and buy a replacement. Its crazy how much cheaper TV's are now.

I wouldn't trade up to that 9-11 area for anyone other Bailey or Reese. So, if that's how it fell I would try like hell to trade down or take Methusidor a little earlier than I would have liked if a trade down is not possible.

I like R Mason but he shouldn't go that high. He shouldn't even go at 20.

I will not allow Mesidor to be taken. Too old with sketchy wheels.

I was headed down the aisle knowing Stephen Jackson was on the board as our pick came up.

I think the only other one I would really feel comfortable reaching for there would be McNeil-Warren, but I wouldn't particularly like him there.

I was getting cable installed at my business that morning, specifically so I could watch the draft (fuck the customers). 5 minutes after I tuned in, I saw they were trading out of the pick.
