2026 Random Cowboys Stuff Thread...

And we all know Dallas got lucky with both Romo and Dak, finding their future QBs with minimal draft investment. The odds of that happening a third time in a row and at the same franchise— not high, my friend.

I mean, it's probably going to require a draft investment. In an ideal world you draft one the way the Packers did with their transition from Favre to Rodgers to Love. And those transitions are much easier when you're placing the young QB on a well built team where there is little pressure to step in right away and carry it.

We haven't drafted a QB in the first round since Aikman. Hell I'm not sure if we have drafted a QB in the first 3 rounds since Quincy Carter. So investing a top draft pick at QB feels a long ways off. But we will cross that bridge in 2 years.

Just a reminder. Today is April Fools Day, so I have this waiting for anyone that falls for a fake account and posts some wacky lie. And if the offense is egregious enough I will not hesitate to underline the shit out of it. Be warned.

You people are going to start making me hit the ban button because I'm growing VERY tired of uneducated statements like this. Go to CNNSI and see what they think of White. Then, post it. Fpickering, YOU WILL POST THIS NEXT.

If I see your name beside a post after this time stamp that does not include what a major draft resource like CNNSI has on this player, I will give you a couple of days off. You people WILL START THINKING AND START PROCESSING INFORMATION BEFORE YOU POST IDIOCY.
Minus points for not modifying the verbiage.

First, CNNSI does not exist anymore.

Second, I think fpickering has passed on to the Extremeskins in the sky.

Do better.

I do not need your insolence today.

You want to borrow from the future financially I'm all for it.

You want to borrow from the future by sacrificing draft picks for one year rentals and I'm against it. Just draft better, that's the solution. And despite your fortune teller abilities you have no idea what the QB situation will be in Dallas when Dak is near retirement.
Might mean taking an OT who falls instead of reaching for the best remaining defender.
