Prospects Dallas Has Shown Interest In - 2026

I think it's the other way around. Lawrence was more productive from a pressure perspective earlier in his career, but became a better all round player when Kelly joined the team. Kelly has been more productive in bigger moments, though.

So you're saying Lawrence is trash?

Now I want neither.

Name me a hyphen player ever drafted that high who excelled? I will wait. Maybe Smith-Njigba. And no, the Valdez-Scantlings and JuJu Smith-Schusters do not count.

Listen, I've already got plenty of ways to pick a player apart. I don't need to add hyphen to the list.

I would say a top 5 WR and currently highest paid WR in the league counts, yes.

With McCoy running a strong 40 I wouldn't be surprised at all if he went before Downs, especially if a team preferring tall/long CB's is deciding between the two.

Reese is an interesting one though, wonder if they're curious about a trade up.

If we draft a backup center, even in the 7th round, I'm going to flip tables.

Eh it's a Dallas Day visit. They will basically bring in every guy who qualifies. It's like a free 30 visit. I read nothing into these visits. Most of them are looks for undrafted guys. I don't think this guy even ranks as a top 10 center in this draft. Maybe he is the next Brock Hoffman we stash on the practice squad.

We honestly don't really have room for a center. We have our starter. We have Hennesy. My guess is the most you will see is an undrafted guy to compete or put on the practice squad.

I mean McCoy pre injury would have gone higher than Downs. If people believe McCoy is back to what he was in 2024 before the ACL tear, I wouldn't be surprised if he was preferred over Downs. An elite outside corner prospect is just always going to trump an elite safety prospect. So I wouldn't be shocked at all if a team took McCoy top 10.

Good points.

4.38 after an ACL tear is wild.

Is it? I mean most guys I think regain full speed after an ACL tear. And his was what, a year and a half ago? But making sure he is back 100% was the point and his times indicate that he is. That doesn't mean he trusts the knee in live action yet. But it's a good sign he will participate in a full offseason and be ready for the regular season.

This isn't Willis McGahee. Now that was wild.

Gallup was never the same, and Revel looked terrible more than a year after his surgery.

Jordyn Brooks recovered from an CAL tear surgery in one offseason. Hurt it in week 17 and played game 1 of the next season. Just sayin'. :unsure

I bet Revel could run a 4.4 forty right now. But Revel also had some sort of a setback. Dude was on pace to be back for the start of the season and something definitely happened that set his timeline back.

We are still talking a longer timeline for McCoy. He hurt this thing in 2024. He should have been able to play in 2025 and probably could have. I imagine a 40 time comes back first before you see the change of direction and things like that.

Gallup, I remember hearing something about him not really rehabbing properly. Something about stuff in his personal life and I don't think he ever worked himself back physically.
