I still want to see his notes. Because I honestly don't remember exactly what I said. For fun I went back to see what Sean Lee ran at the forty. Because he is kind of my example of white dude, athletic enough, but elite instincts.

Did he really run a 4.8 forty? Because I do not remember that.

I went and searched and it was actually Simp that said it. But, to be fair, he said he wasn't athletic enough for the first round. And, I took that personally.

He has plenty of athleticism. Hell, he hurdled a CB after an INT in one game this year. He is very athletic, IMO. And, that's not

Kidding, you were right. As it stood at that time no one even had him in the second let alone in the first. Your comment wasn't that far off base.

He's an example of how every team and scout will change their opinion slightly as the process moves along.

You shouldn't be moving guys up 4 rounds based on a workout but it's common for a guy to be considered a 3rd/4th in December who moves up to the 2nd after the process plays out.

You have to do it frame by frame, and that gif had 105 frames. I hope Crock feels honored because I will probably never go to that trouble again.

Yeah seems like a perfect fit. And you can really tell how much Parker values that role when you listen to him. I'd still ideally trade down a little first. But my guess is you can't trade down too far.
 
Also what a killer safety class. I won't be shocked if we draft 2 to be honest.
