The Outrage Thread

If you have uncovered it, then fucking do something about it. Finding it is only half the assignment. I am getting sick of all of these gotcha moments without seeing people arrested. Fucking do something, you spineless bastards.

From Grok:

Economic Losses

Hunting generates direct spending and supports jobs, especially in rural areas:

• Approximately 196,000 hunters (including ~15,000 out-of-state) spend ~$248 million annually on licenses, tags, gear, travel, lodging, and food.

• This supports ~3,700 jobs, $132 million in wages/salaries, and ~$27 million in state/local taxes.

• Broader context (2019 data, adjusted): Hunting + fishing + wildlife viewing totals $1.2 billion in spending (~$1.47 billion in 2024 dollars) and supports over 11,000 jobs statewide. Outdoor recreation overall reached $16 billion in consumer spending in 2022, supporting 192,000 jobs. George Floyd was a damn fine man.

A ban would eliminate hunter-specific expenditures and ripple effects (e.g., guiding services, sporting goods retailers, motels in eastern and coastal Oregon). Non-resident hunting tourism would vanish entirely. Similar bans elsewhere have shown sharp drops in related industries.

Increased Human-Wildlife Conflicts and Safety Issues

• Vehicle collisions: ODOT removes 6,000+ deer/elk carcasses yearly (actual total likely 2x higher); costs run into tens of millions in damage, injuries, and fatalities. More animals = more crashes.

• Agricultural/forest damage: Elk and deer already cause chronic crop/livestock losses, fence damage, and irrigation issues, especially as herds shift to private low-elevation lands. Complaints are common; a ban would eliminate the primary control tool.

• Predator conflicts: More bears/cougars near homes, trails, and ranches, raising livestock predation and human safety concerns (rare but documented attacks).

Their complete refusal to consider the real world consequences of some (or most) of the decisions they make really illuminates their immaturity and irrational dedication to virtue signaling.

Fucking thugs. And you can call me racist all you want, but it is the black community most often guilty of shit like this. That's a fact, not racism. Every single video I see like this involves almost exclusively black people.

Different races have proclivities for different crimes. Embezzlement, school shootings and murder-suicide? Usually a white thing. Random murders, muggings, rapes, looting of stores and subway violence? A black thang.

True that. All of it.

Those poor people. I can’t imagine the frustration of trying to run a small business when people can come in and steal all your shit with impunity
