Rewatching Brockmire. Damn, it's even better the 2nd time around.

So watching the last season was just weird. And I probably would have stomached through it but then I heard about the horrific ending and now I'm just not even bothering. It was such a fun show at the start. But the last season was just sort of off the rails from the beginning. Like I said I would have still finished it just to finish it but now it's not worth it.
 
Between the focus on the mother and daughter and Demi Moore’s fake accent Landman is really starting to annoy me

Yeah, it has really jumped the shark. Last episode I watched was the one that started off with Billy Bob sitting in bed with a hard on after taking 2 viagra and crying because his trophy wife won't fuck him. Such a disappointment because the first season was really good.

I stopped watching it halfway through the first season simply because of the annoying mother and daughter. My wife still watches it, but I have only seen about 4-5 episodes.
 
I still like Landman despite the wife and daughter but the part that really makes me roll my eyes is the travel. One second they are in West Texas then go to Ft. Worth for meetings and then back home in West Texas for dinner.

I came home to see my wife and sister binge watching Landman.

I have not watched a second of it as watched the Jerry Jones tearful cameo clips when it came out.

I have my standards.

Funny thing is that I have been able to educate the pair of them about wildcattin’ and what a glory hole is thanks to the old man.

Landman is great if you can just FF over the Jerry shit and the wife & daughter fluff.
 
My wife and I have been bingeing The Diplomat on Netflix since Saturday. Pretty good so far, (halfway through season 2)
 
He's looking very frail. :meh His youngish, gold-digging wife needs to stop dragging him to autograph shows.
