Ezeiruaku isn't bad but he's not that guy

He will get better. But I still agree with you. You either need a truly elite dude like Parsons or you need a few really good dudes. I think EZ will be good but you at minimum need a really good dude opposite him and probably some really good dudes on the depth chart behind him.

Now if you have a Myles Garrett/Parsons type it's a little different. But EZ isn't going to be that.

1st team All-Pro
Turpin
Aubrey
Parsons
Cooper DeJean

2nd team All- Pro
George Pickens

How does Bijan Robinson get 1st team RB and 2nd team as Flex

Turpin and Aubrey are 2nd team.

And why do we care about Parsons and DeJean?

Thx for correction.

Some folks here think Cooper DeJean is overrated.

No Quinnen Williams, but Pro Bowl nod. Neither for Tyler Smith

Matt Stafford 1st team, awaiting MVP results, strengthens his HOF resume

So this is what we effectively got for Parsons:

Quinnen Williams, Kenny Clark and a move up from 44 to 20 in this year's draft (which roughly works out value-wise to a 2027 1st, as that's what it'd take for a move up like that).

The only way it makes sense is if these idiots continue to make win now-type moves.

Another trade the amateur gets fucked up the ass like Caleb Williams.

Shocker.

Nice, as long as Jerry doesn't try getting cute with the 20

If there's a (defensive) player sitting at 20 who should have gone much higher, sure. Just take the guy.

But if there are a bunch of (defensive) players they like and would be there a few spots down, they should definitely get cute because we need a 2nd and/or 3rd round pick if we can get it.

Barton was sitting there to take two years ago, then we had to have extra draft picks and ended with a retard like Gayton

Exactly. I'm trading down unless there's an obvious talent that falls, like with CeeDee.

Well you take Barton and you don't have Beebe. So I'm still ok having both over Barton.

The way this draft looks to be shaping out, just sitting there at 20 and not consider the team panicking to trade up would be foolish. And there is the lack of a 2nd.

Are we allowed to trade away a 2027 first rounder before the 2027 draft starts or before the slots are finalized at end of 2026 regular season?

Not sure what the established stipulations with the Jets are, but is just the highest first rounder we have? If we only have one, it would just default to that one.

Say 2026 we start 0-14. Can we trade ours for future 2028 picks?

My guess is they could in theory as long as they stipulate that it would be the worst of the two picks.

… which, since we just went 7-9, we shouldn’t be making win now moves.
