I like that they have and respect their process— honestly that is a very good thing, just so long as we don’t miss out on a premier 2026 prospect because of it.

I don't think we'll miss out on anything even if they dick around for a week or so since nothing really happens in the first week beyond initial HC interviews.

With someone like Flores we're going to have to wait and see if he gets an HC spot or not, even if he doesn't want to stay in Minnesota. With someone like Leonhard he's probably going to want to wait until he sees what happens with Joseph and a possible HC spot, if Joseph leaves Leonhard would be the DC in Denver, which is probably preferable to somewhere else.

The only thing that could happen quickly in my opinion is jumping on a position coach on a team where there isn't likely to be any major movement, or someone currently out of the league/in college.

a competent team would fire him immediately, but God forbid we rush things

Here we go again… rinse, repeat …. They will drag ass on coaching changes while other teams are signing good coaches …. Let’s seee… then we’ll drag ass in free agency and bargain bin shop … day late and dollar short every fuckin year … it will never end

This should be their process...

There is no good reason to wait. You should put yourself at the front of the line in the defensive coordinator search. Like start looking and interviewing as quickly as possible in my opinion. There is no evaluating necessary. The defensive coordinator obviously needs to be fired. The defense didn't even get better as the year went on. They looked as bad in week 18 as they did week 1 and you had better players by the end of the year.

There is no hope of improvement without getting rid of Eberflus.

Something was clearly wrong with at minimum his balance. Guy was tripping all over himself.

I wish I could say I have confidence that it will be fixed and he will be a really good player again. But the truth is I'm worried that his foot is just a rest of his career problem and that we are stuck in his stupid contract now.

We dinint win enuff games.

-Brian Schottenheimer

Put that shit on his headstone. We have to endure two more years of 7 or less wins and then he’ll be gone and hopefully Jerry will be too.

I want this to be his last hire, and I want him to regret it the whole way.

I still have faith in the Blander.

I don't think it's a lazy or attitude thing like with Diggs. I do think Bland will put in the work. I think it's just a concern that the body will never be the same. It happens in the NFL. Some injuries just sort of linger and a guy is never the same. With feet I don't know that there is much you can do other than to surgically fix it and hope for the best. I'm not doctor so I can't tell you the prognosis on any of it.

He was talking about loving on the players after the game and it honestly just sort of weirds me out. I know he is a touchy feely kind of guy. And it's all about loving and appreciating his guys. But those players just delivered you a failure of a season. Maybe light a fire under their asses in the offseason instead of giving them a love speech.

Yeah, there’s no doubt about it. He sent those guys into the off-season after crying with them and promising God has a plan.

He’s a nothing. Nobody was curious about what Brian Schottenheimer was going to do after McCarthy decided he didn’t need the bullshit, just like nobody would call Jerry and Stephen to run their front office if they became available.

Jerry and Stephen created this opportunity for him out of thin air. No different than creating a player in Madden.
