It will but he should be in the booth. You can't see what's really going on at ground level. It's not like Eberflus has some stellar personality that gets the players charged up on the sideline.

I appreciate that Trevon wants to clear up the concussion rumors about what happened.

Then proceeded to not clear anything up about what happened.

And as far as scheme goes, Diggs is right. But frankly we just run a dog shit scheme and lack the players for said dogshit scheme. And our DC is to dumb to adjust the scheme to the talents of our players. So yeah, if I was Bland or Diggs I'd be a little annoyed and wanting to go back to the way we were doing things.
 
What could go wrong when your dumb cunt owner hires a drinking buddy DC whose scheme is zone heavy and your roster is full of man to man CBs?

It will never change. They think THEY know better about who to hire as assistants than the HC does.

Yeah I appreciate all these media members know the story but are somehow barred from actually telling it. But then in the same breath try to tell us it's not nearly as bad as the rumors. GTFO, if it's nothing bad then just tell us. When you hide something of course everyone is going to jump to the worst conclusions. IF it wasn't something bad, why hide it?

That's unfortunate. I'm a big fan of him as player. Slot corner is probaby his best position instead of "the guy" on the outside. Especially with this foot injury that seems to be repetitive. I think he would thrive in that position as well. The problem is finding two main outside guys. Hopefully Revel can be one of them, but that's a big if.

I'm just hoping we can figure out a scheme to fit these corners. Because Revel for example has never been a primarily zone corner for example. He is big, long and super fast. Feels like running a ton of zone is a waste of his skills. Or if you're running zone maybe a cover 3 would be a better fit. But part of running a lot of man is that you should have extra guys to rush the passer and get to the QB in a decent amount of time. But we don't do that.

The current scheme is just trash. The biggest impact on turning this defense around is going to be who the defensive coordinator is next year.

Mainly talking about the first round and we all agree (i think) that cb needs to be addressed. What about both picks because you are looking at the possibility of having just Revel back from this squad. Same foot issue concerns me with Bland and Im just doubtful that he will be back the same as prior to the first surgery. Even though I dont think last season that he had a good season but my memory could have failed me on that.
