You know I generally agree but I think there's a scenario where you have to take Love as the Gibbs to Williams' Montgomery.

Feh, I've soured on first round RBs again. I saw Love get a Bush comparison the other day...

I have a soft spot for first round running backs. I think the position is that important.

But we just need defense defense defense right now.

I was joking a little about it just because Jeanty has been so not productive. Hampton has been a non factor. And Love scares me a little because he isn't really a tackle breaker, more of a speed guy. Which I'm not sure our coaches care about.

Our coaches love RB's with receiving ability out of the backfield though and that's Love to a tee.

I'm not going to stand on the table for the guy but I do think he'd make sense if the board looks a certain way.

It's hard to judge Jeanty because the Raiders are so shitty. Barkley didn't do much in New York for 5 years then had one of the best single seasons for a RB ever once he went to a talented team.

We're much closer to the Eagles in this scenario.

Miles F'n Sanders looked like a stud behind that line and in that system. Jeanty would too. Jevonte Williams is having the best season of his career behind our line.

RBs are more dependant on the team... Love I think will especially be.

Sure but sometimes when you have the right mix you have a running game that basically carries an offense to a Super Bowl, which Barkley did and Elliott damn near did in 2016 if our shit hole HC then wasn't a piece of shit.

If you let Pickens walk I might be with you. As the offense is currently constructed I pass. I'm also a little bitter we don't use Blue in any capacity despite being a really good receiver.

Let me help a little

But you said next to each other
Do not complicate things. I couldn't find a template with too football players next to each other.

Oh, and STFU!

Watched Auburn/Georgia from earlier in the year to see what the deal with Keldric Faulk is and I'll just say I can see why he's talked about as a likely top 10 pick despite the so-so stats.

His motor seems inconsistent and he kind of loafs at times, but there just aren't many guys with his size who have the combination of bend, hand use and burst that he has. I'm honestly not sure how his stats are so meager because he was beating guys clean all night, he just was barely missing out on finishing with the sack, although he could've easily had 2-3.

He isn't like Mykel Williams either with elite size but so-so burst/bend and who fits better on the interior in clear passing situations, he has the size but legitimately looks like a big time problem off the edge with the ability to win inside and out, at least in this particular game.

I have no idea if that was par for the course or an outlier but it's obvious why he's universally considered a top 5-10 prospect in the class, with some having him firmly in the top 5. I'll be curious to see him against Alabama in a few weeks.

And CJ Allen is a monster, he made a ridiculous amount of plays in that game. I'm curious to see how he measures/tests because he looks kind of smallish, but he's exactly the type of LB we've been missing this year with physicality and the ability to quickly diagnose in the middle of the field. Depending on how Overshown/Wilson look LB might not be as much of a priority, but he's definitely firmly in the mix where ever we end up picking.

Allen vs. Styles will be an interesting conversation given where they should go and where we should be picking.

Stay with me....

Franchise Pickens. Flip for two firsts.

Draft Boston.

Have yet another first this year (3 total) and replace the one you foolishly gave away last year (2 total).
No one would give two firsts for Pickens.

Obviously way too early to get too wrapped up in the exact names but I think it's interesting to see who he projects in the first in general given he has some ties to scouts.

I could easily see us going CB/LB in some order, but I'd rather it be DE/LB. At the moment I think Styles might be my top choice for our first pick given where I expect the pick to be.

Bailey is my actual top choice but now that it seems we'll be in the 15-20ish range I don't think he'll be there.

Its a failure unless we get Reese and Bailey. I accept nothing less. :art

I doubt we go corner when Bland is paid and Revel is a Jerry pet.

I'd bet more like DE-LB or LB-S. We need a good young safety pretty badly.

Any love for Howell there? With 3 big DTs, I'm not sure I hate a little undersized guy like him at LE paired with EZ opposite him.
