There's no one they can trade for that is going to help this all timer bad defense.

Let's say they could even get a Hendrickson from Cincy for a 2. Does even he help much? Doesn't do much for Bengals shit D. I guess maybe he takes them from our level to just plain bad.

Yeah. Trade for him and then you have another contract to "negotiate".
 
Don't fucking bother trading for anyone until you fix the fucking scheme. You can't do a total rebuild during the season to find guys who fit what our defensive coordinator wants to do. And even with players that fit the scheme, I think you still end up with a shitty product. Don't go wasting resources right now to do that. Eberflus won't be long for this team unless he changes what he is doing. Go find the pieces the next guy needs in the draft.

That's the other problem, changing coordinators all the time. Zimmer loved Loofa and stood on the table for him, and the new guy apparently doesn't even like him. Might have cost us a decent RB in that draft.

Eberflus will need to retool this shit now. We cannot afford anything to continue since we now no longer have Lamb for the next couple and Booker until say, Thanksgiving. That is Overshown’s target. By that stage it will not matter and we are playing for 2026 wondering if we should tank since the GB pick will suck.
 
I stopped paying attention once the game got out of control, but when did Booker get hurt?

We don't even dare threaten to blitz. I get that the pass rush so far hasn't been stellar but we are doing zero to help it schematicqlly. I know our Dline coach knows what he is doing. This is just straight up bad Defensive coordinator work.
