Because we want someone who will name names. As Epstein's main squeeze who knew that island like the back of her hand, she's in the best position to do that. The risk is that she will lie about Trump (assuming he's innocent) because she's a lib who hates his guts.

Not if they promise her immunity.

In my opinion, there is no reason for the DOJ to interview her about past criminal behavior because her lawyer would have offered it years ago for leniency.
