I hate to say it but I'll take joy when all industry and wealthy people start to move out of New York and they are left without the tax dollars to fund all the bullshit. Meanwhile their government run stores and communes fail because they are so poorly and inefficiently run that they can't cover their own expenses.

Census data shows they had a net loss of about 100k residents last year. I would expect that to accelerate.

Hey, I'm sure they will get lots of people who want to move into their communes for free or cheap or whatever the hell it is. But they won't be attracting the people with jobs and money.
