DCC Appreciation Thread...

Yeah. It's good. Except that all that stuff is pretty similar, only presented differently in differently shaped pasta. Like I said earlier, the only big differences in Italian food is tomato based sauce, and a cream based sauce. Red sauce and white sauce. Served on a bunch of different types of pasta.

Doesn't nearly have the variety of other ethnic foods. To only name one, I'd take authentic Mexican food ten times out of ten over Italian.

Lol, maybe at Olive Garden.

It is pretty similar, but with variations that make a big difference, different cheeses, different pastas, different sauces like you said, different meats.

You could say similar things about a lot of ethnic foods - Chinese food is basically mostly just meat plus rice plus sauce, Mexican food is all basically meat plus cheeses plus tortillas, etc.

Exactly.

Plus it’s not just “red sauce or white sauce.”

There are a ton of different sauces and just as many meat combinations as any other ethnic food. There’s piccata. Marsala. Vodka sauce. Pesto. Etc.

Damn. Smitty is triggered. Dishing out durs and silly little failed insults.

All because of some overrated food. :lol

ok red sauce, white sauce, and green sauce

I hate when people back into parking spaces and get in the damn way.

I am seriously considering just this. Meat in the damn supermarkets are overpriced and gross.
Yep, been meaning to do this with a guy who sells longhorn near this country course where I play golf. Years ago we butchered a small bison and it was awesome.

It probably isn't that much cheaper in the end, but the quality is much better.

Speaking of overpriced, how much are you paying in the supermarket for which cuts?
