The Outrage Thread

Guess what, Antifa is back, this time occupying and burning UW buildings.

Wow, I wonder what happened to them for four years? Did they go on vacation?

Oh, they weren't being funded by leftist billionaires to fight against a Democratic administration.

Let them burn Oregon or Washington to the ground. Why should I give a fuck if the voters of that state destroy themselves?

I would drone strike those fuckers and not lose a bit of sleep over it. Drop a little tiny nuke and be done with it.

I would rather just walk in there and beat the brakes off of them. Every goddamn one of them. Get about 50 retired Special Forces guys to go in there and do the job.

In terms of the humanities, every test should be in-class essays.

Fair enough, but you can't do that with long form, double digit page papers that require months of research and revisions.

I think probably this is just the new reality. Standards have already been lowered drastically anyway.

That's why I said tests, not term papers.

Right, but that doesn't solve the overarching issue because the humanities are very reliant on long form papers. Maybe that in itself needs to be changed or de-emphasized.
