2025 Undrafted Free Agent Signings

Zero chance we sign Bond with the emphasis on character lately.

Or a Pickens trade

I sort of feel like the Steelers are prepared to dump him. They just want to get a sucker to trade a high pick for him instead.

The Packers are interestingly loaded at receiver from a "talent" perspective. Maybe not huge producers but they just drafted 2 receivers in the first three rounds. They have Doubs and Reed who have been their best. Sort of wonder if they won't dump Watson. Seems to have lost some favor there.

Sounds like the packers need a fourth round pick for next year.

I never really thought highly of their receiver talent, and their actions in the draft kind of indicate that they didn't either. I'd have very little interest in any of their vets.

I mean they drafted a receiver in the first and third round so obviously they felt they were lacking something too. I'm just looking at teams that may be overstocked at the position.

I think Reed is a pretty good #2 receiver for them. Then they sort of have this glut of 2/3 WRs. Doubs and Watson are that to me. I don't like Wicks at all. They also have Hardman on the roster who is trash in my opinion.

Nothing to get excited about but I think Watson and Doubs are better than Tolbert.

Just thinking out loud. Maybe there is another team that would trade a receiver for one of our glut of Olineman or something. Not looking to trade a fourth round pick again. I'd rather fail with Flournoy as my #2 than to do that shit.

I’d be interested in Watson, for his skill alone. The only thing that would give me pause is his injury history since he’s been in the league. Which is strange, because he was pretty durable in college. His piled up time on IR is why the packers are down on him.

Yeah he started 15 games last year so he did do better on that front. Mostly a deep ball guy. Which is why he averaged 21 YPC. Might be fun in a run heavy scheme off some play action, if he can stay healthy.

He's a latter day Miles Austin: hammies made of glass.

Pretty shitty UDFA crop but that's what happens when you put together a really solid actual draft class I guess.

My best guesses for guys who could make the roster are Clark, Barron and Neville.

Yeah I think they just had enough bodies at a lot of positions. There wasn't really room for another RB for example.

I would have liked to see the smaller class be a little more talented though. I mean with a reduced UDFA class I would think you could have maybe gotten a little better.

The roster or the PS? I doubt any make it to the 53, but the guys you listed along Childress could get on the expanded roster.

Money matters a little now, but so does fit. Those players can pick where they want where they may have the best chance at a job. With NIL becoming bigger, you might see a difference in tone in future years.

I mean if I was an undrafted WR, I'd pick my chops at a chance to play for Dallas. But I don't even know who was left at receiver after the draft.

The position was picked clean in the draft. We quite possibly got the two best of the undrafted class. There are maybe three guys after that but the rest I have never ever heard of in a significant sense.
