By the way, this is what disgusts me about the criminal justice system. The laws the way they are written and the power we give prosecutorial discretion are ridiculous. It should all be black and white. But instead prosecutors want the ability to charge anyone with anything if they see fit and not charge someone else if they don't see fit. As is most of Europe. And I'm sure people heard that the conservative populist party in Germany was just declared a terrorist organization after continuing to gain popularity and votes. Imagine some overarching committee run by globalists that can basically declare their opposition dead without giving citizens a chance to vote for them.

This is the new "Western Democracy" where you can have a voice, but only to the extent it doesn't disrupt the real authorities.

This is why I don't have any problems extracting our friendship and support from countries like this. I have no problem aligning with countries that are free and democratic.

And I have no problem having trade and diplomatic relations with these anti-freedom countries. But they shouldn't be getting American support while treating their citizens like this.

That alone should make NATO obsolete.

And yet they'll be the first ones to call Putin a dictator, as if it matters if one person or a group of people oppress their citizens.
