I get bringing in a supposed character risk to pick his brain for an extended period of time. I don't know if that indicates interest as much as due diligence. Sort of like bringing in a hurt guy to check on where he is at medically (Revel).
 
Something tells me that if McMillan is gone Williams or Stewart are the backups.

I'll have to see how Johnson runs next week but if he doesn't at least run a 4.45ish I think he kinda drops a bit.

Unpopular opinion, but I think I prefer Stewart to Williams while not loving either. At least Stewart has elite traits.

Watched some highlight of Jackson and he actually looks like a pretty good RB to me. Seemed like he saw it well, knew when to cut, read blocks well, etc. I saw some site say he had like a 4.75 40 but he doesn't look that slow to me at all. I thought he was pretty fluid for a 230 lb back.

Round 5 RB's that I'd love: Martinez, Brooks, Hunter, Giddens, Skattebo, Smith

I don't want to wait until the 5th, but if we can pair someone in the 2nd/3rd with one of those guys in the 5th, it'd be real nice.

He looks like an UDFA type to me just based on the workout and lack of production. I don't get too wrapped up in 40 times but in a draft packed full of 1000 yard rushers he rushed for 790 yards. But we could use a back to push Sanders totally off the roster.

Also he was a Dallas Day visit more than likely. He was born in Dallas. Same with Andrew Armstrong who is from Dallas. He brings more intrigue for me though. 6'4" WR who ran a 4.51 forty and has 1100 yards receiving this past year. I might watch him.

Right, I'm not saying he's a Jeanty or Hampton, just maybe worth a late round shot. He was a QB out of high school (a four star) and only moved to RB a couple of years ago. I don't know where these estimated times come from but I don't see this as a 4.75 guy. He's moving pretty well against Tennessee and others.

Yeah I think the 4.75 comes from the Arkansas Pro Day. But he looks faster than that. Some guys just don't run forty times well. They are outliers but it's not the only way to judge speed.

Like I said, might be a nice undrafted guy. Or even a seventh round pick. Someone you're betting on having his best years ahead of him.
 


This is very interesting to me. I kind of wrote off the Banks 30 visit but between him and Membou it seems that they'll at least strongly consider OL at 12 if the board goes a certain way.

I'm pretty sure they'd take McMillan, Williams, Johnson (pending next week's 40) and maybe Stewart over the OL, but what I'm really wondering is where they have Golden in that group.

Would they take Membou or Banks over Golden?

Yeah, it's hard to read too much into it. But an OT option would not shock me. Our head coach mentioned DE, OT, WR and Corner as sort of the building blocks.

I could see them going, RG this year, RT next year.
