Hopefully they are thinking of him as a UDFA and just want to get to know him.

1 - McMillan or Golden
2 - Collins (in this case it's a different 1T-type in Williams who I like even better)
3 - RB (I think an explosive smaller back like Sampson or Harvey would be good fits in the 3rd)

The rest is pretty shit though, we don't need to be spending our next highest pick on a blocking TE when we already have Schoonmaker and Spann-Ford backing up Ferguson.

Yeah Sampson wouldn't be the RB I'd take but I can't complain at all. And by all accounts he is worthy of the pick. I just like other RBs who should be available a little more. Sampson is a little soft and I don't really trust the Tenn offense when it comes to their playmakers. It just doesn't translate well to the NFL.

I think there is a chance, maybe a pretty decent one, especially after a trade down.

If we don't add a 4 I think we'd have to take him in the 3rd, I'm looking at guys like Tahj Brooks and Jarquez Hunter in the 5th, both of which would fit great with a guy like Tuten or Harvey.

I'm really hoping to recoup the fourth. Honestly if we can't swing a trade down in the first, I think a trade down in the second could work just as well to get the fourth.

But yeah, then the question is, do you have Tuten better than the other backs who are left in the third. I actually agree and very much like Tuten. He runs hard and with surprising power for a guy his size who can run a 4.3 forty. Most of those guys are all speed and big play ability. But he really shows more than that.

Our team has lacked this speed dimension in recent years. Cooper was it, honestly, and as the primary WR he was going to attract the attention of the fastest CB on the defense anyway.

Pollard and Lamb were and are breakaway threats, but it has been more to do with wiggle and separation than speed. And Pollard succeeded best when we spread the defense with other threats. I think Tuten is going to force defenses to the LOS but not in a way that over-commits.

Additions of Tuten and Golden (maybe) might change this lack of speed overnight. Dream first three rounds are Golden, Harmon, and Tuten, but Harmon won't fall that far.

Tyleik Williams might be there in the 2nd, Alfred Collins should be, neither are the pass rushers Harmon is but they're at least as good against the run and have some rotational pass rush ability.

Tyleik Williams would be pretty high on my list in the second. Assuming guys like Harmon and Grant are gone. I like Collins but I almost feel like he is more of a guy I'd be thrilled with in the third. But just ok with in the second.

Or maybe a trade down in the second and then take Collins.

If this happens I'll be happy with anything short of disaster in the first.

And I think I like Harvey about as much as Tuten. Hard to tell because the defenses he went against usually weren't quite as good, but I like him a lot for a small speed guy. Not sure Tuten really plays to that 4.32, but I bet that time entices some team to take him fairly early.

I like Harvey more, they're just cut from a similar cloth.

When breaking away Tuten shows that speed. But he isn't as elusive as that time would suggest. Like I've said he actually shows really good balance and power for his size. Not really what you'd expect for his size and speed. Most of those guys are jitterbug types.

RJ Harvey is great too. I'd be very happy with him.

And in the end, all this just reminds me of how awesome this RB class is. In other years I might be talking about those two guys in the second round. In this draft I'm talking third or fourth.
