The cap figure is too high. I agree with you.

I was just saying, he has been pretty good since he got to Jacksonville when healthy. The key of all that is when healthy. The first year he played all 17 and he went over 1100 yards. The second year he played in 12 games and had 787 yards. And my quick math tells me if that had been on the field for 17 games he would have gone over 1100 yards again. And then last year he only played in 8 games.

Health is obviously part of the equation. And the fact that he really only had 1 healthy year out of 3 for Jacksonville tells me he isn't worth 16.5 mil.

That is a given.

I just have a hard time thinking why the Redskins would cut him and get zero in return.

It would not surprise me if there is a last minute trade of some sort, ala Christian Kirk.
