2024 Season | Week 12 | Gameday Chatter Thread | Cowboys @ Redskins | 11/24/2024

I wouldn't have anything against the Bills if their fans weren't so obnoxious and Detroit would be an afterthought if it wasn't for how douchey they've become under Dan Campbell.

What that being said, I'm taking Buffalo in that one if I gotta pick.

I'd hate to see that matchup for similar reasons. For that reason I'd root against it and prefer something like Minnesota vs KC. But I'll root for Detroit and / or Buffalo like my life depended on it if it's down to either vs Philly.

There was pass interference on Lamb, sure. But if he was held so bad as you are inferring here, shouldn't the pass have been in FRONT of him? Considering his being held so bad would have slowed him down, right? But instead, the mistake free QB somehow let it fly 5 feet behind him. Weird.

And why do you keep bringing up Dak? I don't give a single fuck about him. Haven't mentioned him once. This is all about the mistake free QB. Nothing else.

Also, stupid shit is an easy target to criticize. Hell, this board was founded on criticizing stupid shit. :lol
You are definitely right on the board being founded on criticism of just about everything.
And we even had some 3 ways and wife swapping shit along the way.

:lol

Somebody called Rush "mistake free"?

I'm fairly certain all these issues with the snaps are like 90% his fault, he's been bobbling them like a moron ever since the Eagles game.
Yesterdays bobbled snaps weren’t on Rush.

Good matchup, but good god I don’t like the idea of either franchise actually getting a ring.
Better than SF, GB, Philly (obviously), Pittsburgh, or for me, Baltimore.

I like KC and Mahomes, but I'm kind of tired of them winning seemingly every year.

I don't think Martin would have changed the outcome at all. He's declined from what he was but he's not that bad.

Carson though, may have absolutely caused us to lose.
Weird how the running game seemed way better than usual with a couple starters out.

So what happened yesterday? Did the D suddenly improve in a week? Did everyone get behind Meatball as the Lame Duck coach? Or did everyone get motivated by playing against the ex DC?

They were also playing against a Dan Quinn defense. Not exactly known for stopping the run.
He’s got something in Washington though that we never had under McCarthy in very stout NTs.
Just surprised it was that easy to run against them.

I think it's a combination of who we played, them not being as good as people thought, us getting a few pieces back on D, and playing against DQ. Football is a funny game. It's not always about just talent. Heart and motivation plays a good part.

Scheme plays a huge part, tho. They were crashing hard to the outside, not plugging running lanes. Practically all game. Normally on runs we'd only get a couple yards on, against the skins we'd get 4-5 or more.

As much as I hate mostly playing out of the shotgun like we do with Dak, I think we would have gashed them even more with that delayed draw out of the gun.

And, Zeke only had 3 carries. His inability to do anything other than block can’t be understated.

The defense has been solid for several games now (relatively) and that's why we won primarily, along with Rush finally playing decently. I also think the Quinn factor added some extra juice for the defense.

I think some of it was, I don't think it's a coincidence that we barely had any issues with Dak/Beebe and that as soon as Rush comes in the timing is all off, basically from drive 1 against Philly.

I don't think it's just the location of the snaps, it's the timing of the cadence/starting the play, combined with Rush being jittery.

I think it was mostly bad snaps, for whatever reason. Maybe he needs more practice with Mama Beebe.
