I'm pretty sure I'm in the minority on this, but if were up to me I'd look to trade Parsons this offseason.

We're at a severe talent deficit and are hemorrhaging quality draft picks. It's unlikely that we'll be competitive next season, so we might as well see if we can restock the draft cabinet a bit and at the same time avoid committing ourselves to another expensive contract.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems like we'd be able to sign at least 3 quality starters with the money we'd save from moving on form Parsons. Maybe not in 2025 season, but certainly in seasons beyond that. Next year's a rebuild season anyway, so I'd be fine making do with scraps until the Parsons savings kick in.

Parsons has become such a wannabe celebrity flake that I truly believe this would be the best way to move forward.

It's a fantastic idea. That's why it will never happen.

Depends if Jerry looks at it like, "You're making 60 million this year, you're playing" or "You're making 60 million, no point in risking you for next year".

My prediction is they shelve him for the year, he comes back next year and has the worst season of his career.

Again, I would appreciate some honesty from Mike. Tell us how you really feel. Pretend you won't have a job next year.
I know right.

There are players who are graded highly by teams heading into every draft but once the players are finally immersed in the NFL environment they are exposed for who they truly are.

Common sense says trust what you're seeing from the guy as an NFL player over pre-draft workouts and college tape.

Whoa. This might be as much as I've heard Mike "complain". Doesn't sound like he's a fan of filling holes with draft picks and signing vets 10 days before the season starts.

It's really a shame. Much like we wasted Hof careers of players like Tyron and Ware and Witten and very good QBs like Romo, we wasted the tenure of a very good coach in Mike McCarthy.

It's so enormously stupid how we handled this offseason.

We don't attack problems with the roster. We sit back and cross our fingers and hope.

All because we are cheap ass dickheads.

As much as I / we hate this front office and have long understood that they are Stooges level bumbling idiots, it's still stunning to me how bad they fucked up a roster after three straight 12 win seasons.

Not only wasting this roster but being surprised when it happens. Even Ray Charles would have seen the RB problem. Top that off with getting defensive when you ate questioned about it. These hillbillies can go back to eating paint chips.

So they are going to chew up a roster spot while he decides. Dumb but whatever.
