If Dak can't play and they go with anyone other than Lance, that would say quite a lot.
It will say what all of us have been saying all along. That we wasted a 4th round pick.

Now, this depends on your point of view, but missing a second straight 2pter (even though the first attempt has no effect on conversion of the 2nd attempt) is supposedly unlikely enough to make it worth it to have a chance to win in regulation.
I get it if the argument is that you want to win it now and not go to OT.

But I don't buy that the 2PT is that much of a sure thing.

I believe that if you do make this huge comeback, all the momentum is on your side. You are feeling great and the other team is feeling down. I realize that the analytics people don't believe in momentum, but I say that anyone who has played sports knows it's real. This isn't like flipping a coin or pulling a lever on a gambling machine. If I've played that well and gotten that fortunate on the onside, I'll take my chances in OT every time.

As long as you get the argument. Up to you if you believe in it. I strongly disagreed with 49ers analytics to accept the ball in Super Bowl OT, even with the tired defense explanation.

Historically, the 2pointer is ~45% conversion rate, but with our offense, I suspect it's lower. However, if you think our chances of converting a single play from the 2 yard line are low, you think our chances in overtime for a 7-play, 50 yard drive with Cooper and banged-up Lamb are higher?

And of course, Saquon Barkley goes to the Eagles and is completely healthy. He's well overdue for his annual six to eight week injury.

Does the parallel parking crabwalk feature on this new GMC Hummer impress anyone? Seems ridiculous.
