2024 Season | Week 9 | Thursday Night Chatter Thread | Texans @ Jets | 10/31/2024

A 40 year old QB just doesn't have it anymore? Who could have seen that coming?
I just can't believe they fired the coach and traded those picks to please him. Very Jerry-like.

Why didn't they just kick the FG and tie the game?

Yeah, it's unreal that they basically gave him the Lebron James treatment when you consider that not only is he a 40 year old QB, he's a 40 year old QB coming off a torn achilles.

What an incredible catch.

Too bad it didn't count.

I'm glad it counts because I don't care for the Texans, but I think that's a really bad ruling by the referees because it looks to me like the shin touches down inbounds simultaneously as the knee touches down out of bounds.

That's not clear and indisputable evidence to me.

My God, the Jets are an utter shitshow.

If this was a catch by the Cowboys we don’t get that call. It was an awesome catch but no way in hell would Jerry’s kids get that!

I can't believe they ruled that a catch. It's almost like they did it just because it was so spectacular. But you don't rule it differently because of that.

Yeah, there's no way you can tell me he clearly gets the shin down before the knee.

The worst part is, they overturned the original call to make it a catch and they aren't supposed to do that without clear and indisputable evidence.

Perfect touch on that throw.

Goodnight Texans.

Stroud is still impressive but he's taken a step back this year.

How the fuck is dropping the ball before you score still a thing with these fucktards?

The league is desirous that the Jets remain relevant.
I think the league just wanted another highlight catch for everyone to jerk off to.
Most of the time, ESPN isn’t showing the entire catch. Just the catch, not how he came down, because if they did, everyone would know it was a bullshit call.
