If he's that good, despite the position being devalued, I have a hard time believing he'll fall to the 20s or whatever.

Good thing our sorry asses will be picking top 10.

Hard to tell with RBs these days. Gibbs for Detroit is smaller, but probably faster and he went 12th in the first.

Jeanty 40 times is estimated to be 4.42. I don't see him getting out of the top 15 with that kind of speed, vision, balance, receiving, blocking. He's the total package except for a little small.

Yeah we will have to wait and see about the size and speed. Boise lists him at 5'9" 215 pounds. He doesn't look blazing fast to me. So 4.4 to 4.5 is probably realistic.

I'd be all for drafting him though because of the vision and balance you mention. Having a RB like that would have a massive immediate impact on our offense.

Can get Tahj Brooks mid rounds. Big back that runs with patience and hard to bring down. He will get dinged for his speed but if you run a 2 back system he would be really good I think.

Had 1500 yards last season as the feature back for the first time and is over 500 yards this season far.

I love watching Brooks run. Like you said he is extremely patient, and while he doesn't have long speed he has burst.

I'd make him a priority free agent.

He will get drafted. He didn't like his draft grade last draft so he came back. He had a 4th or 5th round grade.

He doesn't have the top speed but he is quick to get to his top speed if that makes sense. Very patient so let's his blockers set up and then he hits the hole. A lot like Leveon Bell did when he was playing.

I figured he was on pace for the single season record, but is still behind Barry Sander's 1988 season.

His YPC is almost a yard higher at the moment though, Barry played in only 11 games but had almost 350 carries. Jeanty won't get that many because they make a point to rest him (I don't think he even played in the second half of their last game), but I'm expecting him to put up 2000+ on 6.5-7 YPC, which is completely insane.

As long as he runs in the 4.4-4.45 range I'd consider him anywhere outside of the top 5-7. I don't think there are 10 better prospects and while RB is what it is, special players transcend that.

On turf and behind our OL, which I expect to be very good by next year, I think he'd contend for the rushing title from day 1 and be one of the most dangerous skill position players in the league. The key would be not wearing him out with 325 carries a year like Elliott, keep him around 250 and paired with a bruiser who can wear down defenses.

I haven't actually gotten a deep dive into the players of this draft yet so I was just kidding. My guess is he is kind of an Estime propsect.

I really like Kaleb Johnson from Iowa personally but I'm an Iowa fan. No idea where he will be drafted but he is a big back. 6 foot, 225 pounds, sort of an upright runner. He has been an absolute beast this year. 8.4 ypc, and was leading the NCAA in rushing until Iowa had a bye this weekend. And let's face it we all know Iowa's offense is awful, he has been a true diamond among trash.

I'm ok even if it's a short shelf life. We basically have a 3 year window with Dak. You're hoping a back like that can take the offense to the next level. With Dak and Ceedee signed up, a RB like that makes sense as sort of the finishing piece. Imagine if we had rookie Zeke on the offense with experienced Dak. It would be a different world for this offense.

Vision is a massively underrated RB trait.
