2024 College Football Chatter

I am pretty impressed how Kentucky is standing toe to toe with Georgia.

This season is so wide open. For the first time in a long time I don't have a solid feel for who will be playing in the championship game. You can pick apart all the top teams performances and resumes up to this point.

BTW, there needs to be a full on NCAA inquiry regarding Texas' SEC schedule.

Their schedule is absolute cake outside of the OU and Georgia games.

Meanwhile OU will have to play 5 teams who are currently ranked in the top 10.

They claim OU gets the easy schedule next year.

Which may be a good thing because they aren't good enough to take advantage of it this year anyway.

Yeah it's looking like Jackson Arnold is a dud.

I keep seeing fans holding pointing to the absence of two of the top WRs as the reason he's struggled, but I'm not buying that. Plenty of other QBs are dealing with injuries around them and they are still able to crack 200 yards passing.

I wonder if it was Dillon Gabriel's choice to transfer or if he was "nudged" into the transfer portal. If Dillon was forced to leave just to make room for Arnold, shame on Venables and his staff. Hard to believe that they watched Jackson Arnold in practice and were confident that he would be a better option than Gabriel.

I like Arnold. I think the bad OL is in his head, understandably. And like you say, being down to the 5th and 6th WRs doesn't help either.

You would think his father would be advising him a little better. There's no way I'd draft him in any round.

James Madison took it to UNC today. Jesus.
