Not trying to rain on Texas' parade but this is probably one of those wins that come November it won't look nearly as good, as Michigan will probably have 4 or 5 losses by then.
It use to annoy the hell out of me when at the end of the season when resumes were being compared to determine who gets into the playoffs/BCS, they'd list the Top 25 teams that Team X had beaten.Yeah early season rankings of teams mean nothing.
You allow Jason Garrett to call your games, this is what happens.Notre Dame fighting for their lives vs Northern Illinois.
NIU leads 13-7 with 8:40 to play in the 2nd qtr.

In a number of cases teams (usually SEC teams) would get credit for having something like 4 wins vs top 15 teams, even though those "quality" wins came against teams that currently had 4 or more losses and were no longer ranked. But just because those teams were overrated in preseason polls in September, teams were still getting credit for beating a top 5 team.
So. Freaking. Stupid.
How the hell have Penn State allowed Bowling Green to score 24 first half points?
And they're playing at home to boot!
The win looks great on paper because of Michigan's brand and because they're defending champs, but that's a pretty bland program at the moment.

NI won. Can't say the same for GT.Northern Illinois has bowed up to Notre Dame for a half.

Penn State plays Kent State next week and I'm frightened to death at this point.
