Yeah but it's not just him.

It's him, Carl Lawson, and Jordan Phillips all within the last week or whatever.

They say this isn't panic shopping nor does it have anything to do with any one player's performance, but it sure as hell looks that way.

If Williams hadn't gotten hurt I don't think we'd have signed Lawson.

At DT I think they wanted to make sure Mazi got as many reps as possible and then they'd make a few decisions. Clearly he isn't a guy who you can rely on as a clear cut starter, so here we are.

He's still a horse in the middle, probably won't play more than about 15-20 snaps a game but he'll lock down the A gaps.

Really love all of these additions and I'm glad they're actually doing something about the soft underbelly of the defense.

I'd actually argue that our front 7 has quite a bit more talent than last year, and if Lawson can stay healthy it's probably significantly more so.

Between this highlight and Phillips' trashing Philly fans, could Geng be doing any better?

I hope this isnt Gerald McCoy and Dontari Poe part deux.

I think there's less of a chance of that with Joseph because he knows Zimmer so well, Phillips could end up being a turd though.

Lawson is motivated to show he can still play and isn't far removed from being a Pro Bowl caliber player, so if he's healthy I think he'll be good.

Gregory is trying to find Jerry's number in his contacts list.

This is a decent signing.

Indeed.

Micah should have a lot more room to operate this season. Even if Zimmer doesn't use him as a pass rusher as much as Quinn, I think Micah will still come close to matching his typical sack/pressure numbers.
