I mean I appreciate that I forced you to say that.

But truth be told the guy has almost no shot. He is coming in late and our depth at corner is going to make him start on the third team by default. Even if he had some talent it would be really difficult for him to make his way up the depth chart at this point. Had it been say a DT. he'd have a great shot at making the roster. Or a DE. Or a RB. We just suck so bad at those spots that I think there is a chance.

If Booth makes the roster it's going to be as a bottom of the roster inactive/special teams guy and then probably gone before long.

Yup. We have done this kind of thing before with a couple of other busts/headcases.

Booth is not a bad trade just like the Boss Man Fat swap. This is basically both teams admitting mass failure.

FWIW I would only trade someone like Bass for a clear cut starter since I think he's more or less a lock future starter. Someone like Richards I might be more lenient in terms of the return.
