Hell of a question but literally all of them are better than Williams.

Lawson has a tie to Guenther so maybe he's the leader in the clubhouse.
I am trying to figure out the Harris.

Charles Harris? KnOthxbai

There's an argument that Lawson would be our best edge rusher after Parsons. He was top 10-15ish in the league in QB hits in 2021 and 2022.

Injured last year of course, but Lawrence hasn't put up numbers like that in about 5 years.

It seems no brainer but he is a bit different from the others.

Who makes it out of this gong show will be a ST guy. Hollins has a good bit of experience there unless I am mistaken.

They're definitely going to sign some scrub ST guy as opposed to the only guy who can actually make an impact on the defense itself.

I mean if Zimmer was counting on 70%+ of defensive snaps from a guy who just tore his ACL. The logical answer is you need a guy who isn't even going to be playing special teams but will be playing a ton of DE. But you're right, we will hear the excuse that Lawson doesn't play special teams. So Shaka Toney it is.

you would think.

Kneeland being a rookie might be able to do the ST part, though.

Right now Kneeland is slated to play probably 70-80% of our defensive snaps. But he was a second round pick and I think he has talent, so I'm ok with that.
If we get a decent vet I bet it isn't 70%, though. Especially at first.

Unless he's a total stud, which would be awesome.

I agree. Maybe if Fehoko was worth a shit it would be different. But my biggest concern is just relying on a rookie + knowing you're an injury away from someone like Fehoko playing a shit load of snaps.

Is Fehoko still here?

I guess but he probably is behind other dudes like Wheat who we have no idea who they even are.

I hated the pick when we took him. And I hate it more now. He should at least be showing some promise. But you never hear his name for a reason. You'd hope a fourth round pick is at least pushing for rotations by year two.
