I'm for it simply because it gives Trump good assassination insurance. Oh, and the fact that he is actually a conservative.
 
Vance hasn't exactly been a Trump fan in the past, making the choice even more curious. Maybe Trump has ... grown?

Donalds was initially my favorite, but he's a little green too. He may be ready in 2028. He is part of our deep bench.
 
I like the Vance pick. Trump, and Biden for that matter are old as shit. There’s not a lot of commonality between them and the 20 and 30 something voters. JD Vance is much much more relatable to that segment of voters IMO.

We can probably all agree, he was lacking humility but I am seeing signs of it. I hope it continues. This tragedy could turn into an opportunity for him.

That's a good point, I haven't thought about it in that context. And he really doesn't need anyone to help him win any certain state at this point.
