Friday a co-worker stated that Palin was ahead of her time and that if she came along today rather than 16 years ago she'd be more widely embraced.

I had to agree with him on that one.

She's a mild-mannered traditional conservative compared to the GOP members who get most of the mainstream media attention these days.

I don't think she was as dumb as they made her out to be, though she was still obviously picked for her looks.

But she's probably the president of Mensa compared to Kamala.
 
On another note, Leavitt has grown from kind of cute-but-girlish looking to pretty legitimately hot.
