This guy is a phony piece of shit.

First he says he doesn't play for money, then he makes these comments, which can only be construed by anybody with a functioning brain as saying that he is willing to roll the dice in hopes of getting an even bigger contract than what is presumably available.

I have no doubt that the team would happily give him a 5-year deal averaging $45-$50M/year, with around $150M guaranteed.

That'd mean at least $300M in career earnings, with the potential for upwards of $400-$500M, plus endorsements on top, and would theoretically allow the dumbass front office to put a very solid team around him.

But he's more than happy to wait out a bigger contract while watching the roster around him deteriorate.

What's wrong with saying he's a "gambling man"? Watch 30 minutes of any sports network and you'll realize that degenerate sports gambling has taken over.

Then you have players getting life time suspensions when the fucking industry is legitimized and glorified by the leagues they play in and on the networks where we consume the products.

Maybe cause, like, the players themselves still aren't supposed to gamble?

Call me crazy.

Amen.

If Dak goes, he goes....maybe he could win a championship on a team where there is far less pressure to win...like the Titans.

If you were in his position, would you get as much as you could? I would.

I don’t think the Joneses would get into bed with their QB as deeply as Kraft went into Brady. They are not that intelligent.

If I were guaranteed career earnings of $300-500M (plus endorsements) I'd definitely be willing to forego $5M/year or so on a deal to improve my chances of winning a title. A deal that would be somewhere in the vicinity of $50M/year in the first place.

It's one thing when he was coming off a rookie deal and a franchise tag or two, it's another when your guaranteed earnings are approaching half a billion.

I don't hate this. He's probably not good enough physically for the NFL, but maybe he has good enough instincts to make up for it. Doesn't hurt to take a look.

As long as he doesn't threaten Loofa's job.
