The proper spelling is actually easier to spell.

That La’Roi thing happened either because somebody thought it was cute to have apostrophes or the kid kept spelling it wrong and then the decision was made later in the child’s development to add the apostrophe and roll with it for the sake of time.

The dude from the OG YouTube video is even in this clip. He's the shorter dude up front wearing the black jacket and wearing glasses, 'Supa Hot Fire'.
