No shit, he's here for life.

I don't think he's some sort of savant like some do, but he's definitely a very good personnel guy and we're lucky to have him as a de facto GM.

Not a savant but I do think he does a really good job managing things. I think we are one of the better drafting teams in the NFL. And considering that's our main form of player addition it's pretty damn important. I'm very happy he is staying.

Deny Josina's knowledge at your peril.

Martin and Parsons should be switched on the All-Pro squads... hopefully Micah will see this as a personal affront and take his ire out on our upcoming opponents. :angry

Better career or an actual fight?

Either way I'm taking Allen and in no way is that a ding on Martin. Allen is just the physically most dominating O-lineman I think I have ever personally witnessed. Martin has been awesome. But he isn't scary powerful the way Allen was.

This is my favorite Allen story.

Three offensive linemen are considered All-Pro?

I call bullshit.

I thought the OL was one of the more inconsistent units on the team this year.
Both statements can be true though and are not totally causal.

Injuries can be a big deal when deciding one or more bad overall performances in your absence, but those absences might not be enough to exclude someone off an All-Pro list. Result might be the OL has three bad games out of 17 because of three absence of its best player, but three missed games is not enough to disqualify someone from being considered an All-Pro.

Also, you could have 4 superstar players, but all it takes is 1 liability in your starting 5 to cause a very up and down overall performance. For example, Terence Steele made Hassan Reddick look like a Hall of Famer in Philly, effectively negating his bookend Tyron Smith's awesome performance.

Aside from Aubrey, this was a very sketchy year for this unit.

No, we were outstanding on the coverage side of things and blocked a number of FGs and punts.

The only thing we didn't do so well at was returns, but with the new rules, the only real chance Turpin gets to return is punts, and that's usually only half the time at that.

Well, we did give up 2 fake punts and a blocked FG.
