That was my take from that schedule as well.

I get that there is a formula and all that. But that's like 3 straight years we play the 49ers either in the regular season or the playoffs at their stadium. Just feels unfair. Nothing we can do though. Guess we should be comfortable with their stadium eventually.

It'll be billed as the NFCCG rematch and Niner revenge game... :tippytoe

They need to travel to us .

I mean logically it feels like they should have to come to Dallas next year. But I don't know how the formula works. Oddly enough we get the Lions at home again.

They ought to alternate home and away .

I think the defense might have already peaked under Quinn and I think he might know it. We'll see if they can recapture how they played in last year's playoffs but I wouldn't be surprised if Quinn thought it was a good time to jump, especially if the defense is kind of hit or miss in the playoffs.

I'd still love to have Quinn back next year just because it's one less unknown and you know having him sets a strong baseline level of performance based on his familiarity with the personnel, but ultimately I think we can probably maintain a similar level of play with another DC depending on who it is.

The Packers came to Dallas 4 straight years in the mid-90's... '93, '94, '95, and 96. It happens.

That's just the regular season.

They also came to Dallas in the playoffs after the '93, 94, and '95 seasons.

So we have the Packers first.

If we win, we cannot play the Rams next.

If the Lions win, we get the Lions in a rematch of a game we've already won. Don't think the Lions won't come out angry and inspired though... we'd have to play much better.

If the Rams win, they play the 49ers, and we get the winner of Philly-Tampa, at home.

We've already beaten Philly and Detroit in Dallas this year, and Tampa is what, 8-9? 9-8?

Probably the easiest slate of Divisional Round matchups imaginable, should we move on from Week 1.

My gut says pull for the Rams to beat Detroit. I don't want that grudge match. I want either a mediocre Tampa or a cratering Philly. And the Rams can beat the 49ers.
