I don't remember seeing a team raise a division banner the same season as winning the division, and actually now that I think about it I'm not sure I remember a team making a big deal about winning a division.

A banner the next season sure, but a big ceremony and all is kind of sad.

That does kind of give a team a vibe in the playoffs of just being happy to be there.

There are only 4 teams in a division. I didn't even know teams raised a banner for this. I'm not sure it's not an accomplishment but you have a 25% chance of winning it any given year. Do the Cowboys really have like 24 banners hanging from the ceiling for every time they have won the NFC East?

No they definitely do not, they only have banners for Super Bowls.

I think some of these other poverty franchises like the Redskins might have the years listed somewhere in the stadium but there definitely aren't banners.
