Team should consider abandoning the run until the pass is established. If they have teams flustered with their passing attack, Pollard will be able to break some nice runs and Dowdle can come in and pound the team late to end games. That might be the formula, because all those 2nd-and-11s and 2nd-and-12s were killer against the Lions, who had no business being in the game.

Anyone who watched the Eagles the last few weeks and knew they could lose to anyone.

They're finished.
Over the last couple of weeks I've gotten a good chuckle at how quickly the national narrative has changed around the Eagles.

When they were 10-1 many of us rightfully pointed out how they were a fraudulent 10-1 because they were barely skating by the worst teams in the league. Well up until mid-Nov everyone ignored all their issues. I can't count the number of times I heard someone on TV chalk up an Eagles close win over a crap team as a team "showing championship mettle" or "a great team finding ways to win without their best stuff".

Now all of a sudden that narrative has changed. Now everyone is using revisionist history pointing out how they haven't played well all season and how they've always been overrated.

You can't make this stuff up. :lol

Also, I'm going to take a victory lap on this one. I was one of the early ones who said their defense wasn't going to be nearly as good as everyone thought.

After the draft everyone lost their damn minds just because the Eagles drafted a bunch of notable players from Georgia. I'd seen enough players from Ohio State, Bama, and Clemson who were dominant in college but washed out in the pros, so common sense would tell you not to assume that all those UGA players would be dominant in the NFL.

People just got overly caught up in familiar names.

I'd like to take this opportunity to remind all you fags who cry about the uniform curse and other such superstitious nonsense that the Cowboys won in their blues AGAIN.

:art

Does anyone here actually believe in the curse?

Personally I just like the tradition of whites at home because almost no other team does it.

Crap, I forgot Booze wants me to diversify my posting, so...

Racist

I'm not so sure it will.

As of right now it's Chicago, Washington, New England, then Arizona.

Chicago is the wild card but they already have DJ Moore, and WRs don't tend to go number 1 anymore. If they are smart they'll go QB but I could see edge very easily too.

After benching The Howell Washington almost certainly goes QB.

There's no way New England takes a WR at 3. Again, if they are smart they'll go QB if there's one there they like. The wild card here is if Bellichick is gone who knows what their new philosophy will be. But they desperately need a QB. I could see them trading down a little.

Then there's Arizona and I could definitely see Harrison there for them.

Feel bad for him if he goes there.
