Yeah, but there were several things that just stuck out.

At Jimmy's core was the idea he wanted to live day to day and have fun.

How could you fucking have any fun around a sideshow barker?
 
Jerry deserves a lot of blame, but people like to pretend it was all his fault. Jimmy had a history of not staying in one place too long. And he's even admitted he was looking for a way out. He managed to be made a martyr on his way out the door, along with a pocketful of money, too. Not bad for a guy that wanted to end up in Florida all along.

Agreed, but if Jerruh had just kept his mouth shut, Jimmuh would’ve stayed for at least 94 and the three-peat opportunity, possibly stayed for 95 as well.

Oh, you just know that pissed Jerry off, BAD. Pissed me off, too. Imagine if we'd have lost that game. Would have made Cabo look like a 10 minute trip to the corner store. But shit like that is forgotten in the grand scheme of things.

Jimmy the master manipulator was just starting to lay his cards out on the table, with his eye on Florida..

He didn’t want to. There is one thing Coach Jimmah is. He doesn’t lie. I would assume that also applies to himself.

That dude could manipulate anyone. When it is no longer fun, then it almost became stressful for him. I assume he figured out Jerry Jones in college and got more and more bored.

Nice to think about, but we have absolutely no way of knowing that. In fact, I believe quite the opposite.

Jimmy wasn't loyal to the point he'd stay if something opened that he wanted. He wanted Florida. Don't kid yourself, if he wanted to stay to try for the three peat, he damn sure could have. He saw his opportunity with Jerry's idiotic 500 coaches statement, and got out his puppet strings. Played Jerry, the fans, and the media exactly how he wanted to.

I think he stays for 94 but that's it.

He wanted to leave and he would have, but it sure would have been nice to have him for the 3-peat.

Even so, 1995 was Jacksonville’s first season so he could’ve stayed for 1994, then left for Jax.

Maybe Jimmuh quits 1994 season regardless of Jerruh if he wanted the season break beforehand.

Even if he quit, he was under contract thru 1999, so Jax would have had to fork over a lot of $ or draft picks to get him.
 
I left the room after the Jimmah interview with Buck feeling inspired, like I could run through a wall.

And then I came back to the TV and there is Buck interviewing Jerry Jones.



I just can only say this. I find Jerry Jones to be an odious person.

I used to be in sales and I really fucking loathed that one fucking saleman guy that really was nothing but a story teller and pitchman with zero substance.

And the inspirational quote to start the sit down?

"There are give keys to being a good salesman. Ask for the money and I have forgotten the other four."

I don't think I could be in the same room comfortably with that kind of person for very long.

Compare that to Jimmah's life lesson.

PA+E=P (Positive Attitude + Effort = Performance).
