Agreed. Why shouldn’t CeeDee be in the convo?

He's not really doing anything that stands out from top receivers from previous years.

If it's a WR it would be Hill but I'd be shocked if he got it.

I am still on the fence with the Prescott HERE WE GO thing.

I remember when I was a kid, all the great QBs had their own cadence.

Staubach had his HAWT HAWT. Commanding. Bitch was telling them what to do.

White tried it a little. He was a little soft on it, but he could get guys offsides.

As an adult, I appreciated Aikman's strong but subdued manner. Calculating.

It is a fat big blur in regards to Romo. Way too wordy and a lot of his beady eyes, which I never cared for.

Prescott is going with this here we go thing, which apparently was appropriated from Cooper Rush.

I don't know how to feel about that either.

Eh. I don't think it should factor in the playoffs. Otherwise we'd have years where guys like Eli Manning and Joe Flacco might be MVPs and I think that would kind of ruin it because so much weight would be put onto playoff games.
I agree, and I’m sure voters would ensure in either case that would never have happened

But last year I’m sure Mahomes’ Superbowl win made the difference between his winning MVP vs Hurts

Not really.
I'm not sure I understand what you are saying.

They vote before the playoffs begin.

Eh

It should

The playoffs are a critical part, maybe the defining part, of the season.

I don’t care if it’s not fair. We’re calling out a winner with the most important quarter of the season still to be played.

If two RBs gain 2000 yards and one continues their success into the playoffs and the other doesn’t — I could care less about fairness.

The playoffs are irrelevant to the NFL MVP process.

Otherwise, you limit things way down to only the playoff contenders.

It is rare as it is normally, much less start doing stuff like this.

Lamb seems like an elite possession type to me. His run after catch that was spectacular in college hasn't translated as well to the pro game. He can get deep sometimes, but I don't think he scares many teams to "take the top off".

If you’re not accounting for Lamb, well, you’re an idiot.

Reek is the best rn, but even he thrives best in certain situations.

Lamb can make any play in any situation, so can Justin Jefferson and AJ Brown.

I do not care for the nickname “Reek”.

There isn't a QB that deserves the MVP this year.

Frankly I think Micah Parsons deserves it over Dak.

That being said, since I shit all over him early in the season, Dak has turned in his best year to date, despite not having an all-star cast around him.

That also being said, while it's his best year, I still don't think he's joined the ranks of the elite like Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Patrick Mahomes... it's just that with Mahomes and others having down years there really isn't much in the way of Hall of Fame QB play right now.

And you would still trade him for Sam Howell.

Confess!
