I bet they thought they were drawing the Seminoles and a 30 point W.

I mean is he even their second string QB right now? I also think staying an extra year would be good for Ewers.
3rd string from what I'm tracking.

They had the other kid Maalik something starting the games that Ewers missed mid-season.

Texas will probably have about a 70-30 fan split in the Sugar Bowl.

Ewers is considering coming back.
My brother said he definitely is, and that the QB2 will transfer, leaving the road open for Manning after Ewers leaves.

I was pleased to see Texas being chosen in the playoffs. I watch a considerable amount of the games and it’s my view that Texas can compete well with the teams being chosen to play in the tournament.. After watching the games over the weekend I am a little confused as to how these teams are getting such high regards and some almost didn’t score a touchdown.

I know that some have opinions that defense is the most important aspect of a team but I would respond that winning is determined by the points that are put on the scoreboard. Some of the most praised teams playing almost didn’t score a point. Florida State had to go deep into the 4th quarter to put enough points to eke out a win. That’s not a team that should be considered notwithstanding their no loss record. The rest of the playoff teams also played as though they didn’t know where the goal line was.

its a good thing that the criteria for winning is total points scored and not why a team deserves to be advanced because they are preferred by committee members.

I loathe the Longhorns in a big way, just because.

An OU fan "happy" for Texas in there is just...wow.
I’m not a huge Longhorn fan. Nor Bama. Cant stand Harbaugh. Watched Washington mostly when they played Oregon, so I’m neutral there. But I think Washington and Michigan are the best 2 out of the 4.

I could see him staying if he has the job in a year. If he doesn't he should transfer now. That's just how college football is. And if you want a chance at the NFL you'll need at least a couple years as the full time starter.

And poor FSU now faces Georgia in the Orange Bowl. Anyone else want to kick them while they’re down?

The conference needed someone to represent them and since Oklahoma couldn't get there, then Texas is the representative. If Texas wins the whole thing then it will give both Texas and Oklahoma more respect in the SEC next season. I have my reasons.

I understand your reasoning. I cannot align with rooting for divisional or conference rival.

Way I was raised.
