Rodgers on Dak

At first I thought this was just a repost of the Dak praise, but at about 3:20 he does talk more about the cadence. Pretty interesting.

Garrett is a fricking beast

No one is disputing this. Dak has been outstanding since the Chargers game.

Beating elite teams on a consistent basis would make him elite. Maybe any improvement there makes him elite.

Unfortunately, we very consistently never beat elite teams. A fringe playoff team, sure, but never a contender.

Until that happens we can shout out fluff about Dak until we're blue in the face.

This seriously sounds like some cheesy reality TV show. So he is going to sit and think about it. And then the week before the big game between the Eagles and Cowboys he is going to decide who he is going to pick between the Eagles and Cowboys. It's the NFL version of the freaking bachelor. They should have him on the field before the Eagles and Cowboys game with one rose. How exciting.

Listen, I think he is a hell of a leader. I'd like him in Dallas but if it happens it happens, if it doesn't it doesn't. He doesn't move the needle enough for me beyond that. The Colts didn't cut him because he is still great.

He's a nice to have, not a must have by any means.

I think he's a situational guy who can make an impact over maybe 20-25 snaps a game, he isn't going to significantly move the needle for either us or the Eagles.

I don’t understand why more QBs don’t use their cadence and hard counts as a weapon. Maybe I'm oversimplifying it in my head, but It seems like it would be a very simple tweak to their pre-snap stuff. Yet you really only see seasoned QBs doing it.

Agreed.

Also, credit to him for saying himself that he hasn't done shit yet.

Dak's been doing it best at home (or in SoFi, which was basically a home game). Next up: doing it always.

Can you imagine if Dak had actually seasoned OC/HC combo in place his whole career? Schottenheimer might not be the best, but he brings diverse NFL experience which alone is a huge advance over the Garrett/Moore bullshit we had before.

Dak is elite when I say he’s elite.

He’s still a bitch ass hoe right now.

He's had big seasons before. He almost threw for 5,000 yards a few years ago. So what.

Eh it's just talking points. We all know the story of this season is only half written. Has he been playing out of his mind, sure. But if the end result is a loss in the first or second round of the playoffs no one will care. Even if the loss isn't his fault, no one will care. No reason to get ahead of ourselves. We need to go beat the Seahawks. That's all that really matters right now.
