This is a move Jerry would pull to keep his team relevant in a season where the team is trash and all but already eliminated.

Yeah, because really, they are kind of at the limit of how much they can protect them and still have a game. It's friggin crazy already with the no low hits, no high hits, can't touch his head, etc..

Glad for him and the Jags.

I have nothing against them so I didn't want them to lose their season to this, and I thought they had a chance to avoid the worst when he was able to walk on it, even if it was gingerly.

I'm sure it's a bad high ankle sprain so my guess is he misses 2 games then comes back with very limited mobility.
